AGM held on Monday the 29th Of October.

Dear Members,

I am extremely pleased and proud of this year’s result with a profit of $244,500. Again, a very strong result. The Annual report is available here on our web site or can be obtained directly from the Club. As you are all aware the Clubs held it's 123rd AGM on Monday the 29th of October 2018.

Results like this just don’t happen over night. We have seen positive results for the past five years, and the venue continues to go from strength to strength.  As it has been said before, Michael Perrett and myself put this extremely pleasing result down to a number of factors:

Commitment of the Board to improve the venue, while working as a united team, with management and staff.

Our magnificent staff, they are one of our best and most important assets.

Ongoing events and promotions. Including our new loyalty program.

Offering what our members and visitors expect from a Club.

Continuing with our mantra of “getting the little things right.”

And finally, put simply, don’t be afraid of HARD WORK.

The Club has two major events coming up:

Melbourne Cup Calcutta, on Sunday 4th of November, rasied over $800 for DOXA.

Christmas Lunch is a three-course affair with all the Christmas trimmings for $65. Bookings essential.

Some of our current deals - $10 lunch Tuesday to Friday; Tuesday is Chicken Param night; Free Trivia Wednesday night; Steak night Thursday; members draw on Wednesday and Friday nights; and the last Friday of every month we have live entertainment.

I hope to see you all at the AGM.

Yours Sincerely

Philip Dentith
