GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT

Greeting  members

 LOYALTY

What an interesting word!

How does loyalty inspire so many people to perform such heroic acts? We have all heard the stories of soldiers executing deeds of bravery and paying the ultimate sacrifice because of their loyalty to their country, of martyrs being killed due to their loyalty to their faith, and even sportspeople accomplishing superhuman acts because of their loyalty to club and their team mates.

What possesses these every day, ordinary people to act in this manner. In all probability their country has never done anything for them to warrant such loyalty, their religion has done nothing for them specifically and their club has treated them no differently than their other team mates. But here they are, doing acts that can only see us shaking our heads in amazement.

Here and now, on a far more every day and standard level, one that does not require herculean acts of courage, I am often amazed with our Loyalty Program.

It was designed, of course, to reward our members for their patronage of our club.

In return, we are hopeful of the support, cooperation, and continued usage of our facilities by our members.

Is it working?

For it to be successful we need it to be reciprocal – we reward our members – they support us.

Let us give you some facts, before we answer our own question,

Last year we rewarded our members staggering figure of over $300,000 from loyalty points, discounts on food and beverage and weekly monthly giveaways. As of June, we have 1327 members, which means each member is being rewarded to the tune of $226.07. Not bad for a maximum membership cost of $30!

As a Club, we are very mindful that we are a member’s club, and you, the members, are the reason for our existence. We have no intention of depriving you of the benefits of membership.

However, it must be a two-way street. We are confident that we are proving our Loyalty to you by providing you with the membership benefits that come at a considerable detriment to our financial bottom line, but in return we also seek your Loyalty.

All we ask is that you promote our club to your friends and be proactive in encouraging them to support us when they are looking for a night out or a dining experience.

We are confident we have the facilities in dining, gaming or comfort. We are confident we have the staff and expertise in these facilities, so please support us and allow us to continue with a Loyalty Program that benefits all parties.

As always, if you have any ideas about how to improve the Club, please let us know.

 Kind Regards
